Looking Glass Ornament

I've been prototyping this style for MONTHS and it's ready just in time to be an ornament for the holidays! Let me tell you, this was a tough one to figure out.

I was heavily inspired by vintage artwork, frames, and gothic windows. The "frame" almost looks like liquid gold because of the techniques I used when painting. The "glass" portion of the design looks out to the night sky full of stars and the moon.

 

- Materials: polymer clay, gold paint, resin, acrylic, black ribbon.

Dimensions:

Ornament size- 2.5 x 1.5 in

Weight- 7 grams 

(A US quarter weighs about 6 grams)
